A public sample to get started
A little
depth.
These open movies offer real left/right-eye video for trying a stereo player. Their licenses allow commercial reuse with the required credit. They are separate from Dreamzy VR and are not bundled with the app.
Start with Big Buck Bunny

The Sunflower stereoscopic edition is a verified, safe-for-work sample. The opening forest and bunny scenes are useful for screenshots without titles or action sequences. The full film includes cartoon slapstick.
- Format: flat stereo, top/bottom, left eye on top.
- Resolution: 1920 × 2160 packed; 1920 × 1080 per eye.
- Frame rate / length: 30 fps / 10 minutes 34.5 seconds.
- Download: about 414 MiB as a ZIP, containing an H.264 MP4.
Get the stereo film from Blender
In Dreamzy VR, choose Top/Bottom stereo layout and Flat projection. It is not VR180 or a 360° movie. At 00:30, the forest is a clean image for comparing both eyes; at 01:00, the bunny is outside the burrow.

Another stereo option
Elephants Dream has an official stereoscopic re-render under CC BY 2.5. The side-by-side MKV is about 791 MiB, 24 fps, with the right eye first and 1920 × 1038 per eye. This is a darker fantasy film; inspect the exact scene before selecting a marketing screenshot.

Need immersive rather than flat stereo?
Caminandes: Llamigos VR Demo is a genuine spherical-stereo 360° example from Blender and Google VR. Its source download was not publicly accessible during this review, so it is a reference to investigate rather than a verified downloadable asset here.
Use the genuine stereo versions linked here. A filename containing “stereo” can refer only to audio; it does not always mean there are separate eye views.
